Chinese smartphone maker Vivo had recently slashed down the price of Vivo V11 Pro. And now, some users of the phone in India have begun getting the Android 9 OS update. Though the company has not made an official announcement regarding the update rollout, it is expected to be rolled out in small batches at present.
As per sources, Vivo is currently testing the new software in just limited V11 Pro phones. A lucky user took to his Twitter handle and posted that he got the new firmware on 18 April through OTA. The OTA update reportedly measures around 3.11GB and it may take over 20 minutes for it to get installed completely. Some of the latest highlights include a new UI look and an upgraded ‘Shortcut Centre’. It is believed that the update will bring about much more new features to the phone once it is rolled out widely.
Talking about the specifications of the Vivo V11 Pro, the phone features a 6.41 inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card. There’s a 25MP front shooter and a dual camera setup of 12MP and 5MP on the rear side.
