Shocking! ‘Bad Boys’ Star Theresa Randle Arrested for Alleged Felony Assault by LAPD!

Theresa Randle, known for her role as the loving wife of Marcus Burnett, portrayed by Martin Lawrence, in the “Bad Boys” trilogy, was detained in Los Angeles earlier this week on allegations of felony assault with a deadly weapon, although no formal charges were made.

Randle, who is 59, was taken into custody on Monday, regarding an incident that transpired on Saturday, according to Officer Charles Miller, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, who spoke on the matter on Friday.

Miller stated that there was a dispute on Saturday between Randle and another individual in the 500 block of 7th Street. Randle is alleged to have assaulted the other party, according to Miller, and returned to her downtown LA residence two days later. The alleged victim then contacted the police to report the prior incident, resulting in Randle’s detention on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Information regarding the victim and the weapon was not immediately provided.

According to records from the LA County Sheriff’s jail, Randle was taken into custody at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Monday and was formally booked later that day.

The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office made the decision to not proceed with the case and Randle was consequently released on Wednesday.

The district attorney’s office confirmed on Friday that they had opted not to pursue the case due to a lack of sufficient evidence.

Attempts to reach a representative for Randle on Friday were unsuccessful.
