Check out the first-look images from the second season of this critically acclaimed show, brought to life by the co-creator of Yellowstone!
Taylor Sheridan’s latest series made a splash when it initially premiered last October, garnering significant acclaim. The co-creator of Yellowstone is striking while the iron is hot, with season 2 of Landman set to air later this year, just a few short months after the conclusion of its debut season.
Landman takes us into the world of Texas oil companies. Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) is a fixer tasked with handling the everyday problems for a wealthy oil tycoon. Worn down by life’s trials, he struggles to balance his professional obligations and the stress of his tumultuous personal life.
What will Season 2 of Landman be about?
The first season ended with a double twist. The death of Monty Miller (Jon Hamm), leaving his business in the hands of his wife Cami (Demi Moore, whose role will be significantly expanded in the new season). But that wasn’t all, as Tommy crossed paths with Galino, a drug lord portrayed by Andy Garcia who proposed (or rather imposed) a business partnership.
Unsurprisingly, the second season of Landman will explore these new developments, which are bound to have far-reaching implications for the series. The first released images from Season 2 also reveal Sam Elliott’s role as Tommy’s father. The legendary mustachioed actor previously starred in a Yellowstone prequel series, 1883, which also featured Billy Bob Thornton.
Season 2 of Landman will be available exclusively on Paramount+ starting November 16th.
