The highly successful show The Crown portraying the British Monarchy will be returning for season 4 this November. Olivia Colman plays the role of Queen Elizabeth in the show. She said the show will now dive into the 1970s.

The Crown is loosely based on the facts about the Royal family of Britain. In this season, viewers may expect a budding romance between Prince Charles and Princess Diana. The show will focus on how the royal family is looking for a fitting bride for Prince Charles and his romance with Princess Diana.

Season 4 of The Crown will also focus on the increasing tensions between Margaret Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth, and how the tensions led to the Falklands war. There was also a period of discomfort during the 1970s when Britain was struggling with its relationship with the commonwealth.

The series has become quite successful on Netflix and has garnered a faithful fan following. It has also received many prestigious awards like the Emmys. Colman, who plays the role of Queen Elizabeth, is seen at the beginning of the trailer of season four. It is all set to be a war of wills between the first female prime minister of Britain, Margaret Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth.

At the beginning of the trailer, The Queen is noticed, saying, “Something as important as the monarchy simply cannot be allowed to fail.”. The trailer looks promising. Season four of The Crown will be available on Netflix in November. It seems things are going to get exciting in November, and we aren’t just talking about the American Presidential elections.
