Xiaomi India has surprisingly revealed the Redmi Y3 smartphone in full through a video just a few days before the phone’s official launch. The video teaser confirms the fact that the upcoming device will feature a waterdrop display notch. This will incorporate the major highlight of the phone, the 32MP front shooter which the company has already suggested via earlier teasers.
The new video teaser, which is posted on the official Redmi India Twitter handle, also shows the rear side of the Redmi Y3 sporting a circular fingerprint scanner along with a dual camera setup.
How about the build quality? See it for yourself. Will you drop your phone like that? #32MPSuperSelfie arriving on 24-04-2019. pic.twitter.com/rYOguJazj3

Besides this, the video showcases another major highlight of the upcoming budget device, i.e. durability. The Redmi Y3 has been put through a durability test by dropping it down a staircase which shows how strong the smartphone’s build is.
On the other hand, the clip also reveals Redmi Y3 design. The upcoming device features a gradient finish on the rear side unlike the single tone finish on the Redmi Y2. Moreover, the Redmi Y3 sports a thick chin, although there are thin bezels on the right and left sides of the phone.
Notably, Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi Y3 in India at its April 24 event held in Delhi. It is believed that the company may also unveil its Redmi 7 series in the county along with Redmi Y3.
