Kelly Reilly Teases a Happy End for Beth in Yellowstone’s Finale – Find Out Why!

The actor portraying Beth Dutton, Kelly Reilly, has spoken about the end of “Yellowstone”, as the shooting of the series’ final episodes is in full swing.

While it’s still unclear if Kevin Costner will return to the series, the filming of the ultimate episodes of Yellowstone is ongoing. The second part of the fifth and final season will air from November of this year, before a follow-up (tentatively titled 2024) takes over.

And if John Dutton’s interpreter does not participate in the shooting of these episodes, the rest of the western series’ cast is definitely back. Starting with Kelly Reilly, the actress who plays the unmissable Beth Dutton, who could also appear in 2024, alongside the actors who play her husband Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and her brother Kayce (Luke Grimes).

The end of Yellowstone was known from the start of filming

The British actress, who appeared in Cédric Klapisch’s The Spanish Inn trilogy, agreed to speak to our colleagues at TVLine. During this interview, the actress disclosed that she knew how the series would end since the filming of the first season of Yellowstone, which was six years ago.

The series’ end will not mean the end of Beth Dutton’s story. Kelly Reilly shared her expectations for the character’s conclusion at the end of the franchise. Deeply fond of this rough-and-tumble fighter, the British actress hopes she can find “peace”:

I’m sure she’s capable of achieving it. Whether or not it’s possible for her, I don’t know. She’s such a warrior, isn’t she? Her purpose is to protect others. And to fight. But I would really like to see her get that.

Beth Dutton, the fan favorite of Yellowstone!

Beth has managed to reach moments of happiness several times, particularly with Rip. These moments are unfortunately short-lived, as the reality of life and attacks on her father or the family ranch constantly force her back into battle.

But there’s no doubt that the series creator Taylor Sheridan will strive to give Beth a fitting end, especially since he has repeatedly stated that she is his favorite character. A sentiment shared by the majority of the program’s fans!
