Lady Gaga’s sixth studio album Chromatica (Interscope) outperformed to 20 UK chartbusters and climbed the charts since it dropped on May 29th. The album has been leading across all physical, download and streaming platforms. Based on its 3 days of sales it has become the fastest-selling vinyl album of the year.

The album Chromatica has shifted more than 40,000 chart sales to take the top slot on the Official U.K. Albums Chart Update across all formats. Gaga has got tremendous success of this kind 3 times with 2009’s The Fame/The Fame Monster (packaged as one album in the U.K.), 2011’s Born This Way and 2013’s Artpop.

Based on  weekend sales and streaming activity, in the singles chart race, Gaga’s “Rain On Me” featuring Ariana Grande dipped 1-2 after leading the chart. It is one of the 3 tracks of the album Chromatica that has impacted the midweek top 40. “Sour Candy” featuring BlackPink is new at No. 14 and “Alice” has started at No. 24.

DaBaby’s “Rockstar” (Interscope) featuring Roddy Ricch has taken pace and is moving to No. 1. The Official U.K. Singles and Albums Charts are published every Friday evening, local time. On the midweek albums chart elsewhere, Norwegian producer and DJ Kygo is keeping pace with his second top 10 with Golden Hour (Kygo) which is new at No. 6, whereas Hall of Famer-inducted Canadian rockers Rush (UMC) are at No. 7 with the 40th anniversary edition of Permanent Waves.
