Ophelia is Let Down by Julian

Julian discusses his recent work session with Ophelia with Maddie. Although he couldn’t meet the expectations, he managed to deceive the singer. Maddie, who had heard the original track, couldn’t identify the singer’s voice. She suggests asking Hadrien, but Julian vehemently refuses. He finally admits to Maddie that he poured himself a drink but didn’t consume any of it.

Ophelia shares with Florence and Joel that her work session was disappointing: Julian seemed distant and uninterested. The director wonders about this behavior since Julian is talented. Ophelia questions if she made a mistake offering him a duo, perhaps he wasn’t ready. Florence and Joel convince her to give him a second chance.

Following this conversation, Florence calls Julian. He justifies his behavior by saying he was too intimidated by Ophelia. Florence insists that he gets his act together: he even has a coaching session with Joel to work on his composition.

Elise Rejoins the Masterclass

Ophelia informs Florence that Elise hasn’t attended any of her classes after panicking during her performance. Florence decides to address the issue.

She promises to present her composition and work twice as hard. However, Florence finds this unfair to the other students. She promises to consider it and discuss it with Ophelia.

Hadrien Discovers Julian’s Dishonesty

Hadrien stumbles upon Julian in the studio working with Joel. He requests to finally hear his composition. However, the sound engineer is disappointed when he realizes that Julian stole a composition from his computer. Worse, he tells him that it’s actually a song by Elise. The reason Elise didn’t react when Julian performed it in class is that she wasn’t present. Hadrien agrees to cover for his boyfriend with Joel, but not with his sister.

Julian is about to confess to Elise when she tells him that she’ll be rejoining Ophelia’s masterclass. She asks him to help her manage her OCD. Ultimately, Julian doesn’t have the courage to tell her the truth.

Noah Seeks Revenge on Jacob

Noah plans to get back at Jacob. Tess thinks he’s overreacting and that they’re not children anymore. But during Ali’s class, Jacob goes out of his way to distract Tess, and she once again faces the teacher’s harsh criticism. She finally agrees to join Noah in his retaliation. But when it’s Jacob’s turn, he successfully overcomes the challenges set by his classmates.

Victoria and Solenn Move On

During the composition class, Joel has Solenn rework her song. Victoria discovers that Solenn hasn’t given up on the song she wrote for Max. Solenn apologizes, saying it wasn’t her idea but Joel’s, who thinks the song offers a chance for her to try a more vulnerable register.

But Victoria isn’t convinced and insists there’s a lot of work to do on the vocals. Joel sees this as an opportunity: she can coach Solenn on her voice. Victoria finds herself having to work with Solenn. Although it’s awkward, they manage to remain professional and collaborate.

Later, Victoria discusses her coaching session with Solenn with Max. He reassures her: he loves her and isn’t trying to replace her with a younger woman. Solenn interrupts them to apologize for her behavior.

Julian Falls Back into Drinking

Julian confesses to Maddie that Elise is the composer of the track. But the two friends argue because Julian is tired of her scolding. Once alone, he drinks alcohol while Maddie watches him through the window.
