After serving the audience with edgy and insider takes in the world of cricket, the sequel of Inside Edge is ready to hit mobile screens. Amazon Prime’s first Indian original series Inside Edge had created a lot of buzz regarding business, entertainment and the politics that happens in the cricket world. Released in 2017, it had attracted a huge audience with the storyline of a fictional T20 cricket tournament.
Now, the makers of the series are back with more drama in season 2, which has been announced to release on 6th December 2019. Farhan Akhtar along with Ritesh Sidhwani and Excel Entertainment has shared the first motion poster of Inside Edge 2 on social media making their fans super excited about it.
The cast of the second series i.e. Inside Edge 2 includes Richa Chaddha, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vivek Oberoi, and Angad Bedi in lead roles. The star cast of season 2 is pretty much similar to the first season. Vivek Oberoi will be seen as a sports management company owner, Richa Chaddha as an actress, Siddhant Chaturvedi as a rookie bowler while Angad Bedi will be seen playing the role of the captain of the cricket team.
The first season of the series was extremely loved by the audience. It was even nominated for best drama at the International Emmy Awards.
