Super 30 ‘s trailer is out. It is a movie on Anand Kumar, a Patna based Mathematician, who helped teach underprivileged students in Bihar and honed their skills for IIT exams. The trailer dropped out after many controversies involving the war between the exes Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut.
The trailer is a 2 minute 37 seconds long video which captures the rise of the protagonist, and then his struggle against all odds to fight for the underprivileged children. The trailer highlights the problems of the lower strata of the society. It also features Pankaj Tripathy and Aditya Srivasta.
Hrithik Roshan can be seen in a new avatar in the movie. He does not play his regular role of the hottie but has changed into a tanned super-energetic Bihari. His look is a tanned, bearded man with a sloppy Bihari accent. He has definitely put effort into the role.
But fans are not taking the trailer positively, especially the Bihari fans. Many of his dialogues have become memes and are making rounds on the internet. His popular dialogue “Itna kaise galat ho sakta hai Bhai?” has been made into a meme, where Hrithik Roshan’s accent is made fun of.
The memes are a rage right now on the internet. And Biharis are furious that Bollywood has stereotyped Biharis as tanned skin and typical Bihari accent. Alia Bhatt in the movie Udta Punjab also had brown paint smeared all over her face. The Krish star’s face also has a similar turpentine paint on it and he is seen trying too hard to overcome his Koi Mil Gaya Lisp.
Anyhow, many of his supporters have decided to have his back and are telling the haters to just deal with it. A fan tweeted “For all those trolling, writing off #Super30trailer for petty things like accent, skin complexion whatever. Let me tell you people this movie is not a mimicry about a person speaking any language. It’s about his journey from where he started & where he reached with his hard work.”
