The Bharat movie made a consistent 20 crores from day one to day 4, but then the movie dropped. It might be due to the ongoing World Cup tournament, and India’s matches in it which has stolen the audiences. There was a 55% drop in the movie. It made only 10 cr on its 6th day.
Bharat became the second highest grossing film of the year this Monday. But that does nothing to impede the failure of the movie. It is not what a Bhai movie was expected to earn.
Katrina Kaif who played the role of Kumud in the movie did a tremendous job at it. Recently, Katrina has tried her hand in many types of roles. She played Babita in Zero, a ballsy role. And then she played Kumud in Bharat. She filled in for Priyanka Chopra who left the movie on a short notice.
Katrina Kaif works in movies of all genres except one. In a conversation with IMDb original series – The Insider’s Watchlist, she said “Horror, I’m too scared.” She does not watch much horror movies because she is easily scared. And she is not going to act in any horror movie anytime soon.
But she did share her favourite movies, the movies that pushed her towards a career in acting. She recommended the viewers to watch movies like- Four Weddings and a Funeral, Sleeplessin Seattle, Pretty Women”, any movies starring Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan.
She also shared a detail about her that the fans did not know. She is a huge fan of Game of Thrones. She is eagerly waiting for the prequel series. And you will be surprised at who she is rooting for.
“I think it has Naomi Watts in it. Girls, I don’t know if they’re up for another season but I absolutely loved the show.”
