Yesterday, Disney revealed the first glimpses of “Only Murders in the Building” Season 4, where our trio of protagonists transition from New York to Los Angeles.
Our little summer delight, a show we have been cherishing for four years now, “Only Murders in the Building,” had its upcoming Season 4 release date and trailer unveiled by Disney during the Upfronts (sequential panels where broadcasters showcase their forthcoming releases).
Only Murders in the Building: Release, Cast, Plot… What we know about the successful crime series’ Season 4
This crime series, starring the trio of Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, has a knack for bringing in big and small screen stars with each season. And the upcoming one is touted by the studio as the “most star-studded season.” In addition to the delightful return of Meryl Streep, new episodes will also welcome Melissa McCarthy, Eva Longoria, Zach Galifianakis, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani, and Richard Kind.
Heading to the City of Angels
While the first three seasons of “Only Murders in the Building” took place exclusively in New York, providing a distinct vibe, our three budding detectives are now leaving the Big Apple for the City of Angels.
As they follow an initial lead regarding the death of Sazz (Jane Lynch), Charles’ stand-in on Brazzo, he, Oliver, and Mable are invited to Los Angeles where a studio appears to be interested in adapting their story and podcast into a big-screen production… And as the trailer reveals, this could lead to some amusing situations for our trio of protagonists!
Season 4 of “Only Murders in the Building” will start airing from August 27 on Disney+, with a new episode released each week. And we can’t wait to dive in.
