Recently in an interview with Neha Dhupia in Vogue BFFs, Katrina Kaif made a comment about Janhvi Kapoor. On being asked who does she think goes Over The Top in their gym attire, she answered with Janhvi Kapoor’s name. She even said she was really worried about her “Very very short shorts”

Soon after that Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram and posted a story of Janhvi Kapoor in denis shorts claiming she can rock even basic attire. The media interpreted this as a defensive move made on her part for her cousin.

But soon Sonam Kapoor made it clear that she was not throwing any shade on Katrina Kaif. In her Twitter comment, she wrote “Guys I wasn’t defending janhvi over something my very dear friend Katrina might have innocently said. It’s an inside joke with my sister on her gym looks that get papped. Pls don’t create drama mediawallas”

She tried to clear the air between her and the Bharat Actress by making this statement. She put some effort on her part to smooth things over, after an underhanded jibe to Katrina. The actress is always on the news with her bold statements.

Few days back she was in news for her Terrific comeback when a website posted a sexist headline about her upcoming movie ‘The Zoya Factor’. The headline read ‘Dulquer Salmaan’s The Zoya Factor to Clash with Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 3’. Sonam Tweeted and replied with “It’s called Zoya factor Bollywood life. I play Zoya.

She was assertive on the fact that she plays the main character in the movie, not her male co actor. It was a bold move which put the sexist headline in its place. Sonam does not back down from giving it back to the media who portray her in bad light. A brave move.
