Kristin Scott Thomas Shockingly Reveals Secret Marriage to Bloomberg’s John Micklethwait!

The English actor, Kristin Scott Thomas, has tied the knot with the Bloomberg News editor, John Micklethwait.

The lead actress of “Slow Horses” confirmed her marriage during Tuesday’s “Ruthie’s Table 4” podcast, when host Ruth Rogers acknowledged the wedding during the episode’s opening.

“Kristin is currently reveling in love and the delight of her recent marriage to the editor and my friend, John Micklethwait,” Rogers stated. It was previously reported by The Independent that the couple, who have been in a relationship for roughly five years, quietly got married in September.

On Wednesday, representatives for Scott Thomas did not promptly reply to The Times’ inquiry for a statement.

Scott Thomas expressed her longing for a more stable life, as opposed to constantly traveling the world and not sleeping in the same bed for more than a fortnight. Her career in television has facilitated this desire.

“So much life has unfolded in these past four years,” Scott Thomas said, referring to her time on the thriller series on AppleTV+. “People have passed away, babies have been born, divorces and marriages have taken place. And this year alone, we’ve celebrated two weddings. We had Jack [Lowden]’s wedding [to Saoirse Ronan] and my own wedding.”

The Oscar-nominated actress from “The English Patient” disclosed that she and Micklethwait exchanged wedding vows in Rutland, England, the place of his family’s origin. During the food-themed podcast, the star from Cornwall revealed that their wedding menu included coronation chicken, a renowned cold chicken salad dish that was originally made for a lunch event during Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953. As a wedding gift, her sister gathered and organized recipes from both sides of their family and compiled them into a book for her.
