Quentin Tarantino’s 3-Time Star Joins Yellowstone: The New Western Series You Can’t Miss!

The sequel to “Yellowstone,” known as “The Madison,” will feature a legendary American actor, known for his roles in many films directed by Quentin Tarantino and John Carpenter.

Before the shooting started, it was announced that the sequel to Yellowstone would feature Kurt Russell. However, surprisingly, the American actor’s name was not mentioned when the production of the series called The Madison officially began. This led to speculations that he would not appear in the show…

The Madison is a continuation of Yellowstone, focusing on new characters. Its main cast includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, and Patrick J. Adams, but surprisingly, the name of Kurt Russell was eventually added to the show’s lineup. Variety confirmed his participation in the show, which marks his reunion with Michelle Pfeiffer 37 years after their film Tequila Sunrise.

A revered actor in American cinema

Kurt Russell is particularly known for being a favorite actor of John Carpenter. His career also allowed him to work under the direction of Quentin Tarantino three times (in Death Proof, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), as well as appear in the Fast & Furious and Marvel sagas (Guardians of the Galaxy 2). His last appearance in a series was in 2023, in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (a spin-off of the Godzilla saga).

The Madison should not be confused with the other two Yellowstone sequels that are also in the works: The Dutton Ranch, which will follow the new adventures of the couple formed by Rip and Beth Dutton, and Y: Marshals, a spin-off dedicated to the character of Kayce Dutton. In addition, a third prequel (after 1883 and 1923) set in 1944 is also planned.

All the series derived from the Yellowstone universe can be found exclusively on Paramount+.
