The first trailer for “Marshals: A Yellowstone Story”, a spin-off focused on Kayce Dutton, has been revealed.
Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, has spent his entire life trying to escape Yellowstone. The black sheep of the Dutton family left behind his friends, parents, and siblings. Now, freed from the ties to his family legacy, Kayce is poised to spread his wings. He’s at the helm of a team of US Marshals, ready to enforce law and order in Montana!
What happened to this iconic Yellowstone character?
The first trailer for “Marshals: A Yellowstone Story” shows Kayce alongside his son Tate Dutton (Brecken Merrill) and his spiritual father Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham). The absence of Monica (Kelsey Asbille) is confirmed in this trailer, although no explanation is provided, leaving fans to fear for Kayce’s wife…
This official sequel to Yellowstone will be broadcast next March on CBS in the United States and on Paramount+ in France. It is the first series to emerge since the end of the main program last December. Three other spin-offs are soon to be released: The Madison with Michelle Pfeiffer, The Dutton Ranch (the spin-off about Rip and Beth), and the prequel 1944.
A spin-off that will stand out from the original series!
New characters will make their debut in the series, as Kayce Dutton’s new comrades-in-arms: Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos), and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means). The return of Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) – Rainwater’s right-hand man – has also been confirmed by the production.
More action-oriented than Yellowstone (which was not short on action), this new spin-off promises to explore a previously unseen chapter of the franchise. It’s a fresh start for the western universe, and for its main character. Even though he thought he was done with the role for good, Luke Grimes was ultimately persuaded to return after reading the script. Now it’s up to the fans to be convinced by this spin-off!
The first season of “Marshals: A Yellowstone Story” will be available exclusively on Paramount+ from next March.
