Last Sunday, the 25th annual Critics’ Choice Awards were held where Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame bagged the Best Action Film of 2019. Yes, that’s absolutely true! Avengers: Endgame won this race against “1971”, “Ford vs. Ferrari”, “John Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum”, and “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
In April, all the Marvel superheroes from Thor and Black Widow to Captain America and Iron Man, united one last time to save the world against supervillain Thanos. Other than that, this union marked the end of the third Marvel phase and broke all the box office records. Moreover, it was no less than an emotional moment for the fans as they have sacrificed their favorite heroes in the Endgame.
The film has been directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film was further star-studded that included Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Brie Larson, Danai Gurira, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Wong, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, and Josh Brolin.
In July 2019 “Avengers: Endgame” took the lead by beating “Avatar” and became the world’s highest-grossing film of all time.
