As expected, the Salman Khan movie, Dabangg 3, witnessed a significant drop this Friday. The film that is going to complete its second week this Friday didn’t perform well, as you can expect from a Salman Khan movie. With the CAA protests taking place throughout the country, it has affected the box office collections of the film to a certain extent.
Also, the release of Good Newwz, which took a good amount of screens away from the film and the positive word of mouth for the film, has affected all the collections of Dabangg 3 majorly. Dabangg 3 collected about 3.5 crores this Monday, taking the overall box office collections to about 130.05 crores.
It was expected that the box office collections of the movie would rise this week and then start dropping as Good Newwz was scheduled to release on 27th December 2019. As per the experts, the movie can do a good business by adding 10 crores more to the total collections before it completes its entire theatrical run. It will be the highest-grossing film for Prabhu Deva, crossing the collections of Rowdy Rathore if this happens as it is expected.
Meanwhile, the film has managed to make a good amount of money with many obstacles. It was expected that as it is a Salman Khan movie, the film would do a business of more than 200 crores.
