Good Newwz that stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in the lead roles is now facing strong competition from movies Chhapaak and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior at the box office. However, with this stiff competition, the film is managing to gross good numbers at the box office. yes, you read it right. The film is still doing well and continuing to break many records set by Bollywood hits.
On the 3rd Friday, the film, Good Newwz, has managed to gross about 2.07 crores at the box-office. The film witnessed a growth of about 50 percent on Saturday, earning about 3.06 crores at the box-office. The film is going to complete its third-week run at the box-office this Sunday and has managed to gross about 186.49 crores at the box-office in its entire run.
Good Newwz is further likely to cross 190 crores mark at the box-office soon. However, with competition from other films such as Chhapaak and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, it is unlikely that the film will cross 200 crores.
Good Newwz, till date, has been able to manage to cross the box-office collections of Bajirao Mastani (Starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone), which collected about 184 crores. The film is further expected to pass the box-office collections of movies such as 2.0, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Mission Mangal, and Ek Tha Tiger at the box office collections soon.
