The world celebrates Environment day on June 5 since its inception in 1974. And it seems like our Bollywood stars are also taking it seriously. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, released a song “Hawa Aane de” ahead of the Environment Day featuring many Bollywood celebrities adhering to this year’s theme ‘Beat Air Pollution‘.

Shaan tweeted about the song “#Kholahawa introduced me to the magic of #RabindraSangeet and I’m glad this album brought a whole new generation closer to the Magic of Tagore !!”

The theme of the song is Air Pollution and it focuses on how to reduce it. The song is 3 Min and 32 seconds long and starts off with Akshay Kumar jogging with a mask on. It also features singers like Shankar Mahadevan and Shaan, comedian Kapil Sharma, and Choreographer Shaimak Davar. Not just that, it also features the new heart throbs of Bollywood, Raj Kumar Rao and Vicky Kaushal.

Many people contributed to #beatairpollution campaign via this song. Lyricist Swanand Kirkire and composer Shantanu Mukherjee worked hard in bringing this song to life. And singers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Kapil Sharma, Shantanu Mukherjee, and Shiamak  Davar have also lent their vocals. The video has so far hit 116k views on Youtube. But once it hits all platforms we hope it is going to be a hit.

Here  is the video of Hawa Aane De:

In the wake of the Environment Day India is all geared up to tackle the problems of Air Pollution and it is inspiring to see stars come forward with a powerful message. Last year India was the Global Host nation for the 43rd edition of Environment Day. And this year India is keeping up with the theme of Beat Air Pollution with the catchy tune of Hawa Aane De. But more important is the message the song spreads.
