Jamtara, a popular Netflix series, portrays a phishing hub of a remote village in Jharkhand named Jamtara. Based on a real-life scam, the story of this Netflix series, Jamatara will haunt you to pick any unknown number. yes, you read it correctly as it is that sort of riveting tale.

This series has been directed by Soumendra Padhi. Moreover, the story of Jamtara revolves around two cousins Rocky and Sunny (Sparsh Shrivastav). They are masterminds of a flourishing phishing hub. This rising illegal business is caught by a local minister who asks for a share in the same. Meanwhile, a new SP is introduced to catch these masterminds.

This Netflix series, Jamtara jumps into the core of the subject without creating any base for newcomers. Its crisp writing runs the entire show at a quick pace. This short runtime is a good move but the audience might not connect to the characters quickly. It has tried to portray women in a good position in this society.

Other than that, the introduction of female (Aksha Pardasany) SP in a police station full of men cannot be ignored. Furthermore, the entire raw and new cast (Anshuman Pushkar, Rohit Kp, Aksha Pardasany, Sarfaraz Ali Mirza, and others) will certainly win hearts with the perfect portrayal of their roles. Overall, it is quite entertaining with base build-up and quick runtime. The end is full of suspense and signals for a second season.
