Julianne Moore and Finn Wolfhard are soon going to star in a film together. The film will mark a directorial debut for Jesse Eisenberg. This was revealed by Eisenberg in a podcast recently. The film is going to be a comedy and has been written by him. The American actor who is already an author and playwright will now be donning the hat of a director.
The film is named When You Finish Saving The World. Before arriving to a film script he made a storybook for audible. This Original work for audible, Eisenberg says, serves as an inspiration for this film. Without revealing much about the plot he briefly stated that its a mother-son relationship that the film is focusing on. In the audio-book Wolfhard will lend his voice to one of the characters. On the other hand there are talks happening with Kaitlyn Dever to lend her voice to another character.
The film would be produced by Emma Stone. Both Eisenberg and Emma Stone have worked together in two of the Zombieland films. Because of Coronavirus it is uncertain as to when the film would go of floor. The impact of the virus has been such that the shoots have been stalled to avoid mass gatherings and prevent spread of the disease. But it is hoped that as soon as the restrictions are lifted a schedule would be planned to bring this project on floor.
Currently the film shoots are on hold. This will be bringing the problem of adjusting dates once the shoots resume. Wolfhard’s dates for Stranger things 4 will also play a deciding role in chopping up a schedule for the film’s shoot.
