Kajal Aggarwal, who starred opposite Ajay Devgn in Singham, has a message for everyone. She is robustly active on her Instagram handle. Recently she posted a picture which has become a fan favourite and has stirred up the social media.
She shared a bare face photo of herself, which flaunted her true skin colour and her cute freckles. And she captioned it with “And it took courage and supreme shedding of inhibitions (and an entire layer of make up) to finally put this picture up”. She used tags like #therealme , #sansmakeup , #nofilterneeded , #skinbeneaththepolish with her picture.
The picture received a lot of love even from the Tollywood fraternity. Pragya Jaiswal commented “ Wow” on Kajal’s picture. But Kajal Aggarwal was not done yet.
She posted another picture on the same day with a longer caption saying – “People can’t discover themselves anymore . Perhaps because we live in a world crazed by physical attraction or because social media has swallowed up our self esteem in whom and what it glorifies. Billions of rupees is spent on cosmetics and beauty products that promise you the perfect body, Narcissism seems to exist everywhere. Between tjose lines, we try to join the crowd or feel left out. Yet the only way we can truly be happy is when we start accepting who we are rather than defining or carving different image for ourselves. Although make up beautifies our persona, does it build our character and defines who we are? True beauty lies, in accepting ourselves for how lovely we are.”
This picture fired up the comment section and has already received above 6000 comments. The pictures are from her photoshoot with Joseph Radhik, who also did the photography at Virushka’s wedding. It might be the first time a Bollywood actress took this step and went bare face for a photoshoot. Where Bollywood is popular for its glam, the Singham Actress sent a powerful message which resonated within the fans and her community.
