Kangana Ranaut has always made headlines for facing troubles on the professional front. After Manikarnika and Judgemental Hai Kya, Kangana’s upcoming biopic Thalaivi has also landed in huge trouble. The movie has been served a notice by Madras High Court. Yes, you heard it right!
In her upcoming biopic, Kangana will be seen in the role of Tamil Nadu’s late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. To get into the skin of the character, she is preparing hard for the role. But, a few weeks ago, late CM’s niece Deepa Jaykumar claimed that making of this movie and web show has not been under her consent. Objecting to the movie and web show, she revealed that she wasn’t informed about making a biopic on her aunt.
She then moved to the High Court to report for the same. Now, in response to the plea, the Madras High Court has served a notice to Vishnu Vardhan and AL Vijay (director of the movie) and Gautam Menon (director of web show based on the biopic).
In the meantime, Kangana was seen dedicating herself to the role of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Sharing a dance rehearsal video, she wrote, “The queen never rests. Rehearsals are in full swing for #thalaivi in Manali. Cannot wait for this epic saga.” In the video, Kangana is seen rehearsing dance with her choreographer. Moreover, the response of the director (AL Vijay) on this notice by Madras High Court is still awaited.
