Ajay Devgan is all set to mark a century through his 100th film with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. He was in rolling news this entire week, as he completed the Bollywood’s three-decade run. Currently, he is all set to have another feather on his list of achievements through his next film Maidaan, after Tanhaji which will stand out as his first-ever multi-lingual film.
The industry is filled with greetings for Ajay on his completion of 30 years. The fans are super excited and are waiting for his next upcoming films. First time making his multi-lingual film, Maidaan (being sports oriented drama) will be showcased in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
According to a report, the aim of the director Amit Sharma has been disclosed. It listed, “He wants to familiarise the viewers of the legendary coach who represented golden years in Indian Football. The story revolves around Syed Abdul Rahim, an immense figure in the history of Indian Football. The decision to unveil it in languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu was to spread the person to reach out to the high extended audience”.
The makers will make Devgan dub for the Hindi version and the dubbing artists will help in other South versions. Maidaan will be based on the manager and coach of the Indian Football Team from 1950 to 1963 named Syed Abdul Rahim. He led the team to Asian Games and reached back victorious. The movie is directed by Amit Sharma and will release on 27th November 2020.
