Mouni Roy’s fame skyrocketed after she made her appearance in the television soap opera “Naagin”. She became the popular face of Naagin. She has become an instagram sensation with her sizzling posts on the platform.
She made her Bollywood debut in Gold, opposite Akshay Kumar. The role did not contribute much to the plot of the movie but she played the leading lady. Her career in Bollywood is just starting and she has many more projects under her belt.
Recently she was in news because of her feud with Director Rajesh Bhatia. The Director who is all set to film his new movie Bole Chudiyaan accused the Gold Actress of unprofessionalism. The issue went too far when Mouni issued a statement through her agent mentioning about the discrepancies in the script.
She is not playing in the movie anymore. But she is in news now for new reasons. On Tuesday Mouni Roy made an appearance for the premiere of Katrina Kaif and Salma Khan starrer movie “Bharat“.
She sported a tiny black dress with a neon jacket and coupled it with black sneakers. The look was casual yet chic, but it wasn’t which got the internet talking. The fans noticed her lips rather than her dress.
The trolls did not leave a chance for her and mercilessly shamed her for undergoing a series of plastic surgery. They accused her of looking like plastic and not appreciating natural beauty. “Plastic surgery ruined her beauty”, “Surgery failed”, “Plastic”, are many of the negative comments which are found on her picture.
While many compared her to Rakhi Sawant, and the Pop king Michael Jackson, her loyal fans supported her. They defended her saying it is her life and her choice.
But the trolls were having none of it. There were many harsh comments which made fun of her overly swollen lips.
Mouni seems unfazed by the trolls. She is going to make her next appearance in Brahmastra.
