Neha attended Daniel Wellington’s campaign launch for team India’s world cup campaign and became a part of their #ourmomentisnow movement. In a conversation with Zoom, Neha opened up about the social media trolling she faces.
Neha Dhupia said ”It is very hard, very tough to be able to ignore it every time. Nobody knows it as it is my personal, my only request to everyone out there is if you think we are not worthy enough or worthy of a double tap or looking a prototype of what you think amazing is, then don’t follow us. Why are you giving so much of your time for this? why are you trolling us? just go get a life! It baffles me that people who don’t have anything nice to say are taking out time to give me so much disrespect rather shut up”
She explained how she feels about fighting her urge to answering the trolls. “I have not replied to trolls, But I had replied to a journalist who tried to fat shame me on my size. I went out of the way to question her. My point is even if I take six months or one year or any other mom decides to stay the size she is how is this anyone’s business. It is nobody’s business.”
Way to go Neha! She is a woman who speaks her mind and she means business. She has her own talk show, and is also the team leader in MTV Roadies.
