Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, a film based on Batman’s biggest enemy Joker, got 11 nominations in Oscar. Yes, it’s gotten that much of appreciation. Moreover, the nominations included Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, Costume Design, Cinematography, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, Screenplay, Original Score, Film Editing, Make-up, and Hairstyling.
Being a co-producer of Joker, these nominations have overwhelmed actor-producer Bradley Cooper. Thanking the entire cast and crew he said that he is excited for Joaquin Phoenix, Todd Philips, co-writer Scott Silver, composer Hildur Guaonad Attir, co-producer Emma Tillinger Koskoff, and the entire production team.
Also, he thanked the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for recognizing the talent and contribution of the team. Co-producer, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, too felt grateful to the Academy for considering ‘The Irishman’ and ‘Joker’. She felt honored on sharing the nomination with the most talented cast and crew in the world.
She said that she had worked with Martin Scorsese for 17 years. There could be no better job in the world. Loving their actors, their crew, and storytelling with a tenacity and passion is quite rare.
