Jimmy Sheirgill, a very well-known actor in both Hindi and Punjabi Movies has finally made his digital debut with Rangbaaz Phirse. Rangbaaz Phirse is basically a political-action thriller series. This digital series is based on a theme, which states that criminal is born out of circumstances and not by birth.
Jimmy stated, “The show is set in Rajasthan, so we worked very hard to get the dialect and the atmosphere right.” while talking with media people during the launch of the trailer of the series. Apart from Jimmy, his co-actors Spruha Joshi, Sushant Singh, Sharad Kelkar, and Harsh Chhaya were seen at the launch event.
Moreover, the director of the series, Sachin Pathak as well as Siddharth Mishra, the writer were also seen along with the entire cast of the web series. This is what Jimmy stated when asked about the show’s USP, “Besides action, I feel emotion is the USP of this show. I can lay a bet that if you don’t cry in the last 20 minutes of the show, I am ready to lose anything! I am happy the way the show has turned out.”
“This series is inspired by people who weren’t likely to become criminals but the system made them criminals. It is about a topper, a gold medalist. He cleared the UPSC exam and he could have joined the Force as an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer. He wanted to do something for the country. Our story is about what happens and how, when such a man becomes a criminal,” Jimmy Shergill stated further.
