Shocking Truth Unveiled: Al Pacino Almost Died From COVID-19, Had No Pulse!

Four years ago, acclaimed actor Al Pacino found himself in a perilous battle with COVID-19, an experience that brought him alarmingly close to death. However, he admits he didn’t see any stereotypical “white light” during the ordeal.

The 84-year-old movie icon reflected on his brush with the virus, stating, “It was as if I had ceased to exist. I was gone.”

While promoting his newly penned memoir, “Sonny Boy,” the Academy Award-winning actor shared the details of his encounter with COVID-19 with the New York Times. Amidst the pandemic in 2020, the star of classics like “Scarface” and “The Godfather” began to feel unwell, battling dehydration and a fever. Pacino recalls, after seeking a nurse’s aid with hydration management, he suddenly blacked out.

He remembers telling the story, “Just like that, I didn’t have a pulse. Within minutes, the ambulance was outside my house.”

Recalling the medical team’s swift response to his condition, Pacino described how six paramedics and two doctors, donned in gear that seemed extraterrestrial, rallied within his home. He commented on the surreal experience, “waking up to that sight was shocking.”

Referring to his near-death encounter as a “strange porridge,” the seasoned actor pondered his existence and memories. He humorously mentioned in the interview, “You know how actors are: it sounds impressive to say ‘I experienced death once.'”

Despite his harrowing experience, Pacino finds solace in fatherhood. Last year, he and his girlfriend Noor Alfallah, 29, welcomed their baby boy, Roman. Pacino, who is father to four children, mentioned that having children is a “consolation” and that Roman is one of the motivations behind writing “Sonny Boy.”
